The Igo 50, with maximum lift capacity of 4 t (4.4 USt), and a jib-end load capacity of 1.1 t (1.2 USt) at maximum radius of 130 feet, is the largest in the Igo range. As on all Igo models, it is equipped with a hand-held radio-remote control, complete with a display for all crane operating data. The main electro-hydraulic unit and drive mechanisms are all easily accessible, and there is a central lubrication system for the slew-ring and pinion. The Igo is designed on the principle of hydraulic self-erection, with easy transportion and fast setup.
There are many benefits to the Igo 50. The crane offers a compact design with a small rear slewing radius that ensures maneuverability on even the most congested job sites. As the Igo 50 only requires a 20 foot diameter area to set up, operators can erect the crane between foundations without blocking either the street or the sidewalks. The radio remote control feature of the Igo 50 allows the operator to stay with the panels while picking from the staging area and setting them for the carpenters, which is an excellent benefit.
